If I were rational, I’d put it into college or stocks or something. But, realistically, I’d probably blow it on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! instead. What would you do with $10k, Oppo? It doesn’t have to be car related.
Mmmmm . . . . .velour.
Awwww yeah that’s the stuff
If someone blows $10k on a Moskvitch, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

If it was I wouldn’t be spending $10k on railroad stock.
Could possibly be a controling share on a class 3 line, but a class 2 or 1 would just barely get me in the door with $10k.

I bought a 240Z for $7k. Then proceeded to spend possibly $20k on it over the next two years, still not totally done.

Realistically I’d just be boring and diversity my bonds n stuff.
But aside from that, I would try to find a 2002. It’s hard to find good ones at that price nowadays, but with the initial cost taken care of, I could afford to fix one up.

Hmmm... US$10,000... I’m gonna split it into logical and stupid things.
Logical:
1. Pay down the mortgage
2. Top up the post-secondary education fund for my kids
3. Top up my TFSA
4. New Aurora Elite Touring bike plus accessories.
http://www.rbinc-sports.com/catalog/bikes/…
Stupid things:
1. Russian OKA electric car:

2. Vangard Citicar:

3. Old Camper van:

Looks like CSX splits every 25 years. Looks like rail is a good steady place to have your money.
I believe it will be more relevant as it is further realized as the most environmentaly friendly way to move goods.

I’d probably blow the whole lot fixing up my many project triumphs (and buying a dozen nore cheaps projects) and then have a massive argument with the gf about why i didn't save any of it for a house ;)

I knew from the start I would do nothing to hurt the originality of the car. It has the original engine that we rebuilt. I would think in 30 years an early 240 with the original engine will be pretty sought after.

Another ‘90s Fleetwood. Not the most exciting car, but I owned one for years, genuinely loved it, and was sad when I had to part ways. $10k would get a much nicer example than mine was.
